# Technical Assistance

#### Red Flag: Narrative describes delivery of technical assistance to an individual.

Technical assistance, by definition, is not provided to an individual. It is provided to an agency or organization with a goal of improving something — their services, management, policies, or other areas. The goal does not have to be accomplished for the TA to be reported as it may be ongoing. If a goal has been accomplished, it may be appropriate to report as a state improvement outcome.
